Responsibilities

  • Lead for annual headcount, personnel cost planning and monthly forecast
  • Calculate HR-relevant quarterly accruals (e.g. vacation, bonus) for all entities
  • Act as key contact for external payroll providers and responsible for the monthly German and bi-weekly US-payroll. This also includes submission of payroll relevant data to external providers and SOX-conform payroll-testing and -execution.
  • Alignment with other EU payroll providers
  • Responsible for Compensation and Benefits:
    • Participation in salary surveys
    • Running benchmarks for the company
    • Preparation of annual bonus and merit round
    • Handling of corporate stock option program in collaboration with Finance department
    • Administration of Company Pension Scheme (bAV)
    • Administration of the company bike lease program
  • Act as key contact for external auditors for all SOX relevant testing (annual and quarterly)
  • Build and maintain the HR Business Process Management
  • Other project related tasks

Requirements

  • Diploma/Master in Business Economics
  • Minimum 7 years of proven experience in relevant departments
  • Payroll experience and good knowledge of social security system
  • Experience in international payroll (double taxation, expat management) is preferred
  • Excellent MS-Office skills, especially Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills and logical thinking
  • Open minded and can do mentality
  • Teamplayer and driver of activities
  • Excellent and effective communication skills
  • Fluent in German and English (written and oral)
