Responsibilities

  • Generation, cultivation and cryopreservation of stable expression cells
  • Production and analysis of secreted recombinant antibodies and antigens
  • Independent planning and analyzing of experiments
  • Evaluation of new technologies for optimization of expression cell development and recombinant protein production at lab scale, as well as troubleshooting
  • Working according to quality standards and Good Documentation Practices
  • Supporting group leader in planning and organization of experiments, data analysis and preparation of data summaries and reports

Requirements

  • Degree in Life Sciences with at least 3 years of professional experience
  • Demonstrated practical experience in mammalian cell culture, preferably with suspension cells
  • Profound knowledge of stable and transient transfection and recombinant protein expression
  • Experience in characterizing recombinant proteins and antibodies in ELISA, SDS-PAGE and Western Blot
  • Knowledge of biologics drug development and production processes
  • Ability to plan, organize and conduct multiple activities in parallel, delivering agreed milestones and adhering to timelines
  • Excellent communication and team skills and fluency in German and English
  • Proficiency in data analysis using MS Excel, GraphPad Prism and sample database management
  • Precise, systematic and well-structured working style, high level of commitment
