  • Drive pharmacological characterization of antibody-based formats through self-reliant design, execution, analysis, and interpretation of in vitro cell-based experiments
  • As a biological lead in a non-clinical development program team take responsibility for in vitro cell-based assays during all development stages
  • Summarize data in reports and presentations, contribute to publications and patents
  • Routinely read relevant scientific literature and implement learnings into projects and experimental techniques
  • Supervise technical assistants as line manager
  • Establish and implement new experimental techniques, and act as a resource or mentor for others


  • PhD in Life Sciences, preferably immunology, biotechnology, or cell biology with at least 3 years research experience in the field of immunology and/or tumor biology
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of state-of-the-art cell-based in vitro assays and techniques in immunology and cell biology: Binding-, cytotoxicity-, proliferation-, signaling-, activation-, and cytokine release-assays
  • Ability to independently design, execute, and interpret critical experiments to answer scientific questions; experience as line manager is a plus
  • Ability to understand, learn, and master new experimental techniques
  • Ability to multitask, work within timelines and as part of a highly engaged and motivated research team
  • Scientific writing skills and strong verbal communication skills
  • Experienced use of MS office, GraphPad Prism, and flow cytometry analysis software
  • Fluent in English and German (both written and oral)
  • Precise, systematic, and well-structured working style
  • High level of commitment
