Responsibilities:

  • Establish and refine state-of-the-art imaging-based technologies such as multiparameter fluorescence microscopy or flow cytometry with a great level of independence and subject matter expertise
  • Establish and execute complex cell-based assays with primary immune and/or tumor cells (e.g. ADCC/ADCP, organoids and/or explant cultures)
  • Lead troubleshooting of methods, assays, and devices guided by literature research, tech support and self-initiative
  • Guide quality control and quality assurance of daily experiments and raw data
  • Support in lab management, infrastructure, and maintenance tasks
  • Support scientists in project and experiment planning, analysis, documentation and communication, according to quality and timelines
  • Responsible for daily lab activities, maintenance of equipment, and ordering of lab consumables together with the technicians

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in cell biology, immunology, or relevant experience
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in research project in relevant area
  • Expert knowledge in either imaging-based technologies (e.g. live cell imaging) or multicolor flow cytometry
  • High level of initiative and independent way of working
  • Experience with Zeiss Cell Observer is a plus
  • Very good experience in MS Office
  • Good knowledge in GraphPad Prism is a plus
  • Very high level of motivation and commitment, combined with strong teamwork attitude
  • Profound communication skills in English and German, both written and oral
