  • Work as a business partner in close collaboration with your internal stakeholders in hands on changes as well as change agent in change processes
  • Purchase Order Management incl. but not limiting to purchase order creation, follow up on confirmations and deviations, status tracking
  • Support our program and business departments in procurement activities : prepare and execute tenders, co-evaluate quotations, prepare and perform price negotiations as well as conclude frame contracts with suppliers
  • Troubleshoot problems and resolve issues with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Support Contract & Supplier Lifecycle Management implementation
  • Introduction of relevant procurement strategies, total cost of ownership and savings reporting
  • Identify, design, and implement continuous improvement activities that aim to optimize costs while guarantying better quality and simplifying internal services
  • Analyse data and monitor selected metrics to regularly track the main KPI’s and advise on improvements
  • Ensure that procurement policies and procedures are followed; be an ambassador for our function


  • Completed bachelor’s degree in business administration or other relevant field including commercial training (Kaufmännische Ausbildung)
    At least 3 years business experience in Strategic Procurement & Purchase to Pay procurement activities
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in either strategic or operational procurement, preferably in Life Science/Biotech industry environments
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office
  • GxP and SOX/Internal controls knowledge preferred but not a must
  • Negotiating and persuasive skills, both in one-on-one and group situations
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent and effective communication skills
  • End to end thinking, (end to end) process oriented way of working
  • Be able to tell a change story and to change along
  • Fluent in German and English (both written and oral)
