Data Manager & Programmer (f/m/d)

  • Act as the Trial Data Manager on assigned trials
  • Perform DM activities oversight for startup of a study including eCRF database setup, Data Management Plan (DMP), Data Review Plan (DRP) and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Perform DM hands on activities during the course of the study, e.g. data quality review meetings and oversight of CRO
  • Ensure that necessary reconciliation activities are performed for the study in a timely manner
  • Track and report status and progress for assigned trials
  • Be proactive to ensure that milestones are met on a high quality level (incl. snapshots and interim/final locks)
  • Ensure adherence to GCP, DM standards, SOPs/WPS and process guidelines
  • Perform programming tasks in SAS and/or R in collaboration with statisticians on trial and program level


  • Degree in either life sciences, with a statistical or medical Background, or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Experience in (Clinical) Data Management within a pharmaceutical company or CRO (2+ years)
  • Good statistical programming skills, preferably with SAS and/or R
  • Knowledge within oncology trials is a plus
  • Knowledge with CDISC, SDTM, ADaM standards is a plus
  • Proactive and independent thinker
  • Very good written and oral communication skills in English
  • Oral communication skills in German are a plus
